You’ll get a critique on two public digital calling cards (any public site or your own website), including input on how to make your profile convey the right impression; advice on style, body language and how these simple things can communicate as you intend – for example, your photo style alone can be stopping your progression. We’ll review your personal brand description, and how you order and present your skills and personal image.

Brighter Horizons is a condensed package of advice provided by Tim Biscaye and other seasoned executives, coaches and search professionals. The Brighter Horizons process is efficient and affordable to help graduate students and professionals in emerging markets who need a boost in your career search but may not be able to afford our standard process.
For most people on the hunt for that new position, their early exposure to those who have the power to hire is via digital calling cards: Linked-In, Facebook, Skype and your CV on-line. The average length of time the person hiring will look at a CV is between 3-8 seconds. If you get it wrong from first glance, you’ll get the delete button, not the interview. If you do get the interview, the style and approach you use in those all-important moments can easily fail repeatedly, but you won’t know why without objective, candid, input from an experienced professional.
How does it work?
You’ll be asked to answer some initial briefing questions for one of team member’s review, along with your CV and two social media profiles chosen by you.
We review your CV and give advice on CV layout and key wording. You will receive feedback and advice on two public digital calling cards (any public site or your own website), including input on how to make your photos give a stronger and more positive professional impression. We’ll review your personal brand description, and suggest how to better present your skills and personal image.
You will go through a 15 minute practice interview on Skype video or in person, and you’ll get feedback on elements that will improve your overall impression, speaking style, and interview techniques. The Brighter Horizons process results can help you be more successful in the competitive job market, setting you up for the job you want.
How Long Does it Take?
The process is swift because you need it to be. There are no books to read, no long-term courses to sit through. Once you have confirmed a booking with us and we have received your payment, we turn the whole process around, usually within 10-14 days, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
